To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.

The ignorance in the interpretation of the Bible is so great these days and their understanding amazingly carnal. In the book of Job22:24 where he got this verse from, the Bible is not saying you will lay Gold up as dust, it says the value of your Gold will be as dust, throw it in the river bed and God will be your Gold and Silver.

A literal translation, taken directly from the King James Version will leave you with a very CARNAL understanding of the message.

Job 22:24-25 KJV

[24] Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. [25] Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

However if you study the amplified version and every other version, the true 'spiritual' explanation of this scripture will be properly understood.

Job 22 Amplified Bible (AMP)

[24] And place your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks [considering it of little value],

[25]

And make the Almighty your gold

And your precious silver,
