UK returnee who was spotted roaming around Lagos is set to reunite with his family (video)

- It was gathered that a Good Samaritan has decided to help the lost man get back to his family

Legit.ng recently reported the story of a Nigerian man who was found roaming Lagos state after he allegedly returned from the United Kingdom to celebrate Christmas with his family. He was found by Facebook user Anselm Ojietu who shared a video of the man on his page.

The man who claimed he returned to Nigeria on Tuesday, December 5 aboard Emirates Airline was identified as Chuks Samson. He had told Ojietu that he hails from Anambra state and grew up in the UK. Samson also identified a Margaret James as a relative in Nigeria.

Help is on the way for the man who seemed confused when he was found. A Good Samaritan has decided to help him find his way to his relatives in Nigeria and back home in the United Kingdom.

According to Facebook user Retty Susie, Samson has mental illness that is being treated but he stopped taking his treatments before coming to Nigeria. She also revealed that Samson’s parents lived in England before they passed away.

“He is fine, a bit more disheveled than in the first video. A captain from Ogidi has found and will help him get back to London but will first take him to see his family in Nigeria. He apparently had a mental health issue and had been off his meds before his trip to Nigeria. Both his parents lived in England and never really associated much with the Ogidi folks in London, they are both deceased but he apparently has a sister in England. THE POSITIVE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA.”
