The pictures of the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is fast going viral in social media as he was spotted defending his PhD thesis in school.

Obasanjo, who went back to school after his tenure as the president of Nigeria ended, was seen with some of his course mates and panelists at the National Open University (NOUN).

The 80-year-old student was seen obviously ready to defend his thesis as he stared into his laptop.

Looking at the pictures Obasanjo was dressed in a cream native attire and aso-oke cap to match, he was holding his bulky doctoral thesis while the panel listened attentively as he defended his work.

However the topic of the former president’s thesis is still unknown but Baba Oiyabo as fondly called will surely do a good job.
