Calabar resident cries out after government allegedly introduced pollution tax (photos)

A resident in Calabar has cried out after she was asked to pay levy for carbon emission and pollution by the Cross River state government.

The young lady identified simply as Papitinny cried out on her Twitter page. She shared photos of the form that was given to residents in her area by the state government.

Papitinny who could not verify if the levy form was fabricated called on Nigerians to help her verify before she pays for it.

She further urged people to call unto authorities that can make it right if it is a fraudulent way to dupe people for money

She said: ”Abeg make Una help me come see matter for Calabar.. We’ve been asked to pay task/Levy on Carbon Emission abeg is this one Legit or Task fraud?? @efccnigeria @HitFMCalabar @instablog9ja Please help us understand& RT till it gets to the correct authorities and government officials.”
