Gunmen allegedly kidnap chaplain, ask for N100m ransom

NAIJ.com gathered that a Chaplain to the Bishop of the African church in Ondo, has been abducted by some unknown gunmen who asked for N100m ransom.

Kidnapping in Nigeria seems to remain prevalent despite the fact that efforts have been made to stop it by uncovering kidnappers' dens and even arresting and trying a kingpin like Evans.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that a Catholic priest recently escaped from the hands of his kidnappers when they slept off after drinking wine from the communion stolen from his house.

However, in a recent development reported by Punchng, a chaplain to the Bishop of the African church in Ondo Central diocese, identified as Reverend David Ayeola, has become the latest victim of kidnapping.
