- Wilson Mutura and Alice Muhonja won Kenyans hearts after holding a KSH 100 wedding

- And Kenyans have been keenly following their lives especially after Anne got pregnant with their first child

- They even opened a mini-supermarket in Kasarani and a green house to earn a living

It has not been all rosy for Wilson Mutura and Ann Wambui, better known as the KSh 100 wedding couple ever since their “Happy ever after”.

It was discovered that the couple are under some serious strains as far as their business situation is concerned. The couple were able to get married with KSh 100 which is an equivalent of N347.

The couple, through the effort of well-wishing corporates, were able to establish a shop around Kasarani which at first sight looked like it would bloom for life.

According to the couple, money has been hard to come by, probably owing to the location of their shop.

My wife and I are fine, though we’ve been struggling to make ends meet. The money we’d injected into the business was all lost,” He explained.

He further went on to reveal that they were so short of customers that they would go hours without making a single “kill”.

What about the baby shower? Initial reports suggested that the lovely couple had held a lavish baby shower in preparation for their first born.

Claims which the couple have refuted as false.

“I will soon throw my wife a baby shower. The party should have been held long ago, only that we did not have enough money,” He told Edaily.

The couple have now been forced to sell their shop and transition into a much more productive business.

Mutura is currently relying on an apple selling business which keeps him going.
