A Nigerian lady simply identified as Zetta has narrated the story of how she retrieved her phone from thieves who stole it from her at Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos state.
You may recall that NAIJ.com had earlier reported her story after she exposed the thieves and shared their photo on social media.
After her phone was stolen, a photo of two men automatically backed up on her Google account and she was able share the photo so the thieves could be caught.
In a recent post, Zetta explained that her phone was retrieved after the thieves tried to intimidate her by giving a tip to the media that she was wanted at the Nigerian Air Force base in Ikeja.
On getting to the base, she was told that no one requested her appearance. However, some men of the force offered to help her catch those who stole her phone.
According to Zetta, the thief’s motive to intimidate her backfired because her phone was retrieved and handed over to her.
Zetta further noted that one of the culprits in the photo she shared was confirmed to have stolen the phone although he claimed he picked it up after it was thrown out of a car.
