A Nigerian man identified as Yusuf Adedeji who wanted to become an accountant has shared the story of how he became a successful puff-puff seller.

Adedeji started his puff-puff business nine years ago after he came to Lagos state from Ibadan, Oyo state.

The young man expressed that he was taught to make puff-puff and akara by a professional.

According to Adedeji, he has been able to grow the business successfully since he became an independent seller.

He said he was able to start and sustain his family with the profit made from the business, adding that he built his house and bought his car from the proceed from the business.

Adedeji told Legit.ng that he decided to come to Lagos and start the business after he failed to become an accountant due to circumstances.

When asked what challenges he faces in the business. He said: "The challenges in this business have been numerous, but I have never thought of quitting for once because I have had a firm belief that things will surely work well.”

The businessman noted that the puff-puff market is a very successful business. He said: “On the average, the boys (about five of them) earn about N1,000 daily and they seem happy with what they are doing.
