Tragedy as pastor’s only child was mistakenly shot dead by robbers in Benin (photos)

The families, friends and fellow students of Tobi Ohio Igioh have been mourning ever since his untimely death was announced to his relations.

The reckless gun fire which took place along Benson Idahosa University road, Ugbor, Benin City, has just taken the life of a young undergraduate, only child of Pastor Mrs Sidi Lawal Igioh and the former General Manager of Edo Broadcasting Service.

It was gathered that late Tobi Igioh was gunned down by suspected armed robbers who were trying to make their way out of the school on Saturday, May 27.

Legit.ng gathered that the gunmen were escaping from the scene of the robbery when they began shooting the unsuspecting victim in front of the school gate. It was also disclosed that suspected cult members may have carried out the gruesome attack on the student.
