Entrepreneurial boy, 15, scores major 7-figure NBA deal (photos)

- 15-year-old Moziah Bridges makes bow ties and other accessories by hand

- He has now scored a major business deal with the NBA

- NBA has granted him license to brand his accessories with NBA clubs logos

Most teenagers probably think they would only start making money well into their twenties after getting a college degree and landing a job.

For 15-year-old Moziah "Mo" Bridges, however, the future is now. In fact, it began in his preteens when he started making bow ties by hand and selling them at school.

With help from his mother and grandmother, he started his company, Mo's Bows, when he was nine years old. He attracted the first major investor when he was 12. Now, he has bagged his biggest deal yet.

Young entrepreneur Moziah Bridges, 15

US basketball league NBA has entered into a licensing deal with Moziah's company, Mo's Bows, which is based in Memphis and manufactures handmade bow and neck ties.

Under the terms of the reportedly seven-figure deal, Mo's Bows has received rights to use NBA clubs logos on its accessories sold on its online store as well as retail stores across the US.

Moziah has scored a major deal with the NBA

In a statement, Lisa Piken Koper, NBA's Vice President for Global Partnerships, said: “Moziah’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit are an inspiration, and we are thrilled about the launch of the Mo’s Bows NBA Collection."

Naturally, Moziah was thrilled: “My goal has always been to make Mo’s Bows a household name for kid entrepreneurship and men's accessories. It feels really good to know a major company like the NBA believes in me and my vision to shake up the world through fashion."
