A Nairobi-based pastor has been forced to address a series of allegations online after a popular group claimed he has been misbehaving.

The group, called Team Mafisi, exposed the pastor for allegedly sending bad photos to someone’s wife forcing the man to share the photos in the group.

“Expose that man,” said the post on the popular group. "What kind of stuff is this he’s sending and he’s a pastor?”

The photos had been doing rounds on social media already, prompting a response from him.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page, the pastor, identified as Charles Makori, asked Kenyans to ignore the post since “it’s from Idlers”.

“My FB friends, let me come out here to say that those who are posting malicious photos about me are ill advised.”

Makori also asked Kenyans to stop treating it with seriousness. He said:

“It’s from idlers in the streets of Nairobi, everybody will be rewarded by what he or she does.”
