NURTW member publicly disowns uniform to escape RRS arrest in Lagos (photos)

An official on the National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW), identified as Olayemi Ogunseye stripped off his clothes on the express in order to avoid been arrested by officials of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS)

Legit.ng gathered that it was a funny sight to behold as many kept wondering why a grown up man would do something like that or what he could have done wrong.

According to the Facebook user, Malik Nasir who shared the pictures on his wall revealed saying:

“While some of his colleagues were unlucky for extorting motorists and obstructing traffic in Ojodu – Berger Park, one Olayemi Ogunseye today played a fast one by disowning his uniform in order to escape arrest by officials of Rapid Response Squad. Ogunseye this morning abandoned his NURTW uniform when he saw RRS operatives, who invaded Ojodu – Berger Park in enforcement of traffic laws and were arresting his colleagues. He thereafter narrowly escaped being killed as he tried to hurriedly join a moving bus in order to escape the scene. About eight miscreants were arrested by the operatives at the park in a move to clear traffic congestion in and outward Lagos.”
