Suspects who killed Jumia delivery man finally arraigned in court (photos)

It could be recalled that the brutal killing of a Jumia delivery man Chukwuma in Ada George area of Port Harcourt, took over the internet after he went to deliver 2 iPhone 7 to a customer on Saturday, March 25.

The suspects arraigned in Port Harcourt as the wife of the deceased was in attendance

Chukwuma was killed by the suspects when he went to deliver the iPhones they ordered from the online store. Not wanting to pay, they killed him and dumped his corpse in a septic tank. The police traced them after a receiving a tip off from concerned neighbours.

In a new development, NAIJ.com gathered that the three suspects according to the police are Sodienye Mbatumukeke, 28, Excel Naabe 25, and Joy Eluwa were arrested and arraigned in court. The wife of the deceased was also said to be present in court.

The suspects appeared before the Port Harcourt Magistrate Court, Rivers state on Monday, April 10, where the judge ordered that they should be remanded in prison immediately.

Following the death of her husband the wife of the deceased, Blessing Eleje has come out to express how she is badly hurt about the death of her husband revealing that her children are still waiting for the return of their father.
