A Nigerian lady identified as Matilda Obiajunwa, the founder of Daivyan Children Cancer Foundation, has taken on the case of Baby Mutairu, a young boy battling cancer.
Obiajunwa made a good move by embarking on a journey that will change the life of the sick child forever. She shared a video where she went on to drop the medicine needed for the first course as he started his chemotherapy.
The hashtag SavebabyMutairu has been activated to make people support the course and help save the life of the baby. Mutairu’s mother was filled with gratitude as she kept kneeling in appreciation of the things being done for her and the family.
Daivyan Children Cancer Foundation focuses on helping children who are fighting cancer. The aim of the NGO is to restore hope to the family of the cancer patients and help children overcome it.
As part of the children day celebration this year, Obiajunwa is launching a march to create awareness on childhood cancer. She urged everyone to be a part of it as it concerns us all. She expressed her gratitude to those who have been supporting the course and driving the campaign.
People like Yawnaija, Iyabo Ojo, Omowunmi Dada, Midas Interiors and Valentynoh have been supportive according to her. She urged members of the public to keep sharing the posts in order to create more awareness on the need to save Baby Mutairu.
Although his treatment has commenced, the child still needs more to win this battle. NAIJ.com gathered that the prayers of the public are also needed to help him get better.
