An Indian farmer decapitated his wife on January 30 after catching her with another man and then carried her head for 8 kilometers to a police station where he gave himself up.

38-year-old Narayan Singh told police that he had caught and warned his wife, identified as 28-year-old Sarita Singh, not to cheat on him twice before but "she didn't listen."

He added the Sarita had broken his trust, something that pushed him over the edge to commit the horrific crime.

Police arrested Narayan immediately and placed him in custody pending formal court charges within two weeks.

They also collected Sarita's body from the scene of the crime, which was in one of Narayan's farms.
